We had the pleasure of going to our family friend's amazing house today for an Easter egg hunt, it is called "The Paradise Crest Manor." This house is an amazing piece of Las Vegas history. At one time, it was called the "Hammergren museum" and that was when the previous owner had it for many years. Since our family friend bought it, it has been renamed and they have been renovating it. You can check it out yourself here at their Facebook page if you want to see some of the amazing pictures of things in the house including Liberace's staircase!

We were there for the annual Easter egg hunt, during which the neighbors who are the original owners of the house open up their back yard too. Their back yard contains amazing things like a dinosaur that has to be at least a few hundred feet tall, and other statues and amazing decorations. Logan and his little brother had an amazing time finding their way around the yard and fantastic decor! Logan was kind enough to give one of the smaller girls an Easter egg he found and help another girl pick up her eggs after she dropped them everywhere. Logan's little brother Jayden was having a great time too, as this was the first time that he was old enough to actually walk and get the eggs. After the hunt, we returned to the Paradise Crest Manor for an absolutely wonderful spread of delicious food and desserts. There was everything from finger sandwiches to Peeps skewers. It was all so much fun, and the best thing on the table were these little dessert pudding cups topped with green coconut flakes and Robin's eggs to look like a bird nest laid in grass atop the dirt. It was so very creative. From the Egg hunt itself, to the food, to the photo booth with props. My friend Amber who is the Lady of the house, never ceases to amaze me with her creativity, care, and kindness for all of us lucky enough to call ourselves her friends. We ate, and talked, visisted with friends, and then had to head home to put Logan's little brother down for a nap.

After some much needed rest, relaxation and recovery time... we finally felt up to an epic Nerf gun fight!
